I agree with #1's comment. A lot of consumer products cost more in Britain and Europe than in the US. The price of $1100 has been floating around for the Q1, if it is $1400 to start (with the Celeron M, who knows how much more for the Pentium M), no one in the States will buy one. At all. I'm sure Samsung knows that.
